Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Intellectual Property (IP)
All materials, content, and resources provided during the training sessions, including but not limited to slides, handouts, and exercises, are the exclusive property of Kākāpō Consulting Ltd.
Participants may use the knowledge and materials provided for their personal or workplace application only.
The materials and content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used to deliver training or generate profit without prior written consent from Kākāpō Consulting Ltd.
2. Use of Materials
Participants are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials provided for their own professional development or within their organization.
Resale, modification, or redistribution of any content provided during the training is strictly prohibited.
3. Booking and Payment
Full payment is required to confirm your booking.
Invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of receipt, or as specified in the invoice.
If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, Kākāpō Consulting Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
Bookings are non-refundable. However, participants may:
Transfer their place to another individual within their organization with prior written notice to Kākāpō Consulting Ltd.
Reschedule to a future session if notice is given at least 14 days before the original session date, subject to availability.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the session will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.
5. Rescheduling by Kākāpō Consulting Ltd
In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring Kākāpō Consulting Ltd to reschedule or cancel a training session, participants will be offered:
A rescheduled date, or
A credit to attend a future session within 12 months.
Kākāpō Consulting Ltd will not be held liable for any additional costs incurred by participants due to rescheduling.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully during the training sessions.
Kākāpō Consulting Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts the session without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
Kākāpō Consulting Ltd will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the training sessions.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
8. Confidentiality
Participants must respect the confidentiality of other attendees and any case studies or scenarios discussed during the training sessions.
Recording, photographing, or sharing session content without prior permission is prohibited.
9. Health and Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they can safely participate in all activities.
Any special requirements or accessibility needs must be communicated to Kākāpō Consulting Ltd prior to the session.
Training venues will comply with New Zealand health and safety regulations.
10. Force Majeure
Kākāpō Consulting Ltd will not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
